HP Interactive social media campaign for Touchsmart PC
This is another great Asia Pacific HP project, which I worked on while I was at Leo Burnett / Arc Worldwide. Asked to launch and brand HP's first touchscreen work station, we deployed an immersive website which showcased the incredible opportunities behind its instant touch connectivity feature and multimedia entertainment capabilities. We created a social networking site that built on its features, allowing users to see and click on each other to create or combine music pieces with photo journals in real-time at a touch. Kudoes to the tech team and the flash coders who pulled off the use of multi-player server and Flash across multiple platforms and countries. Check out the site at: www.practicalmagic.com.sg

The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific hosts some of the world's most prominent Asia-themed academic blogs including New Mandala, East Asia Forum and South Asia Masala. Blogging breaks new ground for many academics. Its immediacy, the opportunities to take ideas to a wide public, and the potential for open debate and discussion are all big advantages of blogging. As part of 2011 Asia Pacific Week the University will host the first annual Asia Pacific Master Blogging Challenge. This will be a chance for some of the best bloggers from around the College, and beyond, to showcase their talents in a live and interactive format. BRIEF: Lipton approached us with a problem: no one was reading their brand guidelines. However, when was the last time anyone got excited by brand guidelines? SOLUTION: We created something completely unheard of -- brand guidelines that are actually fun and engaging. Firstly, a metal suitcase was sent to every Lipton brand manager across Asia Pacific. Inside, was a stack of cash and an iPod Touch, pre-loaded with 'Lipton Millionaire' -- a fun, interactive app that challenges their knowledge of the Lipton brand. This gave brand managers a chance to win a million dollars in virtual sales to show that they truly understand the brand. Of course, the better they know the brand, the better their chances. So we also included an interactive version of the 'Lipton Voice' Guidelines to help them brush up on their knowledge -- giving them the best chance possible of becoming a virtual millionaire. RESULTS: Knowledge of the Lipton brand is at an all-time high -- with their position as the world's no.1 tea brand reinforced with a single voice. More importantly, the way that brand guidelines are presented has changed forever.

Section 8 Gameplay (PC HD) Section 8 is a first-person shooter developed by TimeGate Studios and published by SouthPeak Interactive. It utilizes the Unreal Engine 3 and was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360.[3] It was released on September 1 on the Xbox 360, and September 4 on the PC in North America and it will be released on September 11 in the UK, and Asia Pacific, and September 18 in the rest of Europe.[4] Section 8 is a first-person shooter set in a futuristic universe. The players wear armor that covers their entire bodies and features shielding technology which is able to absorb damage.[5] Players will be able to "burn-in" by dropping onto the battlefield from orbital dropships hovering at 15000 feet from the surface, thus eliminating fixed spawn points.[6] Burning-in also creates the opportunity for the player to choose where they drop on the map, making the game unpredictable.[5] This process is an interactive experience as players can be shot down upon entry by players and anti-aircraft turrets alike, though these situations can be avoided or mitigated by using the "air-brake" feature which allows the player to make mid-air adjustments.[7] Section 8 will include a single-player campaign mode that allows the player to proceed as a character named Alex Corde of the 8th Armored Infantry. Previews indicate that the single-player campaign will be objective-based.[6] Players are able to choose their primary and secondary weapons, such as assault rifles <b>...</b>

I was honoured to have the chance to work on this Asia Pacific Project for HP when I was at Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide. The campaign was very successful and a hit with bloggers worldwide, which led to over 3000 search listings in Google. It also won the most numble of awards for interactive and integrated from in local and international advertising shows such as The One Show Interactive, Spikes Asia/Asia Avertising Festival, Asia Interactive Awards and the Singapore Creative Circle Awards in 2007-2008. The campaign sought to launch the HP xw9400 Business Workstation to creative professionals in the film and animation industry, inviting them to showcase their creativity by directing "Toyrs In Drama" or Toyrama in short.
